MAR-01 2011 : City Networks Link Up with IX2 Wilshire – IX2 is pleased to announce that the City of Santa Monica and the City of Burbank have both established a presence with IX2 at One Wilshire by extending their respective dark fiber networks within IX2's data centers for access by other companies.

FEB-01 2011 : Customer Support Tools - IX2 has installed IPKVM's within our data centers that will allow customers to establish console access to servers and network devices. The customer support tools are fully functional through-out the entire power cycle of servers and network devices via a secure remote connection over IX2/Winky's network. Never worry about losing remote access again or the expenses of time and travel.

SEP-01 2010 : IX2 has expanded its footprint of collocation space within the One Wilshire Building with the recent addition of Suite 1208. This suite will include a central UPS system backed by emergency generator and will also feature connectivity to all other IX2 Data Centers including 530 W. 6th Street and the One Wilshire meet-me room. No recurring fees to connect rack space from one suite to another via fiber or Ethernet. Rack space and power will be ready for occupancy by 10/1/10.

AUG-01 2010 : The "Cloud" is coming... IX2 adds Winky.net (www.winky.net), a public Cloud Hosting and private infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provider to its growing list of diverse customer base. Winky Networks is the first and currently only Cloud VMware Certified service provider in Los Angeles County serving the downtown business corridor and surrounding areas.

JUL-01 2010 : IX2 extends network connectivity to NAC (Network Access Center) at 530 W. 6th. At this location IX2 can now connect directly to carriers that include Qwest, Level 3, Abovenet, Awknet, Webnx and many others. For information on connectivity options contact or call 1-888-600-2800.
